"When Ted Hughes was in his last year of secondary school at Bishop Ryan High School in Hamilton, he wanted to become a priest. The
only problem was one of the worst things he could imagine was having to stand in front of a crowd to speak. How could he, as a priest,
minister to his congregation if he couldn’t get the words out? “I remember clearly being asked to read at a class Mass and almost
passing out from hyperventilation in the middle of the reading,” he said.
That’s where the Christopher Leadership Course came in.
A priest now for more than 20 years, Hughes encourages his parishioners, especially readers and leaders, to take the Christopher
course to teach them to focus on their message rather than getting caught up with their own nervousness or struggles."

cares about the public welfare, I have a need to be outgoing, confident and socially skillful. This social side of life was always a big
challenge for me, until I took the Christopher Leadership Course.
